Everyone is excited about the next stretch of weekly race action at Peterborough Speedway. A new month of the 2026 regular season kicks off Saturday, August 1^st with the Cottage Country Bash.

Grandstands open at 4:00 for a free prerace corn roast, leading up to a great night of racing with the home track Bone Stock, Renegade Truck, Super Stock and Junior Late Model divisions. The highlight with be a 50-lap SwitchTire Mini Stock shootout. Kid’s racecar rides will be the intermission attraction, with racing starting at 6:00.

Start making plans for the stretch of races that leads to this year’s season finale. Saturday, August 8^th sees the return of the Ontario Sportsman Series, plus the home track Bone Stocks and Late Models, along with the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series and KOD Disposal Ontario Bandoleros, with Kid’s Barrel Races.

The season’s final Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Night – presented by Pepsi – is Saturday, August 15^th. Treat yourself to an amazing outing with spectator grandstand admission at only $4.00 for Mini Stock, Renegade Truck and Junior Late Model racing, plus the Outlaw Midgets and GEN3 Electrical SportsMods, presented by OMRS.

With its stretch of 5 Saturday nights of short track excitement, August of 2026 could enter the record books as one of the busiest months in the history of the tight, tricky bullring on Mount Pleasant Road. Still to come before the page gets torn off the calendar will be a 50-lap Bone Stock Shootout Saturday, the 22^nd and the GEN3 Electrical SportsMods by OMRS Robert Maebrae Classic August 29^th.
