The Turn 4 Beer Garden at Peterborough Speedway beer patio is open on race events and starts serving when the main grandstand gates open. Alcohol can only be consumed in designated areas. We serve an assortment of Beer, Coolers.

The time you choose to arrive depends on the size of the event. If you’re not worried about where to sit, for a typical Saturday evening you would probably want to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the green flag flies to get settled in, have a look at the displays and check out the concession stand and souvenir booth. For larger special events such as double toonie nights an earlier arrival is recommended.

Anywhere you like! Peterborough Speedways grandstands have an excellent view no matter where you choose to sit. There is also a fully licensed beer patio with seating and standing room.

Yes, unserviced camping located in the lower half of the parking lot (closest to the road). Campers can be found there on most race nights, and is permitted the night prior to the event and the night of. Camping at most events is free of charge, however special event weekends may have a camping fee and require pre-booking including the APC weekend and the Annual Autumn Colours Classic.

Smaller pets are allowed inside the race track as long as they are friendly and leashed. Service animals are also welcomed

Some things that might make your stay more enjoyable – binoculars, sunglasses, baseball hat, and ear protection. On sunny afternoons be sure to bring some sunscreen and stay well hydrated.

Peterborough Speedway offers a full concession with many different food and beverage choices, including our famous fresh cut fries and specialty hamburgers, along with a kids option. Among other things homemade brownies are available in our souvenier stand. Peterborough Speedway proudly serves Pepsi beverages.

In the event rain occurs before the pit/spectator gates open and the event is declared cancelled, online tickets will be issued for the next event of equal value, If you cannot make that event please contact the speedway to choose another event.

In the event rain occurs after the pit/spectator gates have opened, racing will resume as soon as the Track Officials decide the track is safe. We will make every effort to complete the racing lineup but must stay within our hard shut down time of 11:00pm.

If rain happens to the extent that the program is not able to continue safely and within our time restrictions, the following rules will apply:

  • If Eight (8) Heats/Qualifying/Races or 50% of event has been completed, event will be declared complete and no rain checks will be issued.
  • If less than Eight (8) Heats/Qualifying/Races or 50% of event has not been completed, rain checks, in the form of your ticket stub, will be valid for remainder of current season at value of cancelled event. Keep your ticket stub and re-use at future event.

No Refunds – Be sure to keep your ticket stubs. A  complimentary ticket (face value of $0.00) is not a valid rain check.

Yes, there are accessible parking spaces at both the front gate and pit entrance. Seating is at the base of the main grandstand. Companions may bring a lawn chair to use this space. Washrooms are also accessible.

There is plenty of free parking available on the grounds at Peterborough Speedway.

You can use your credit card to purchase presale tickets and online tickets the day of the event. Our walk-up windows only accept cash at the facility.

No – We only accept cash at the food concession, souvenier stand and beer garden.

Yes. Announcements can be put in the announcement box on the third floor of the main tower outside of race control. As well, you can pre-submit an announcement at info@peterboroughspeedway.com no later than the day prior to the event.

Peterborough Speedway will never rent or sell our customer’s and client’s information to third parties. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

  1. All ticketed patrons who attempt to purchase alcohol will be required to show proper ID.
  2. All alcohol sales will occur only in the beer garden or in the VIP suites. There will be no other sales on the premises.
  3. Any patron showing signs of intoxication will be cut off from sales and possession of alcohol.
  4. No alcohol is permitted in the pit area or outside of the ticketed grounds.
  5. Failure to comply with the policy will result in expulsion from the event and/or notification of law enforcement for assistance.

Seat cushions are permitted. Stadium style seats may NOT exceed 18 inches in maximum width in the grandstands or bleachers. No high back seats. Please be courteous to those around you.

Guests must obtain a stamp upon leaving the gated grandstand area.  Upon re-entry, both the ticket stub for that event and stamp will be required.

Minors must submit a digital Release and Waiver of Liability and a Release and Waiver of Liability signed by a parent (or legal guardian). No exceptions.

From time to time, the use of pyrotechnics may be part of events presented at the speedway. The use of fireworks by guests is strictly prohibited at Peterborough Speedway and in its parking lots. Guests found in possession of or using fireworks/pyrotechnics are subject to ejection without refund, and may also be in violation of local law resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.

To ensure the safety of all Guests, carry-in items will be inspected prior to entrance. Bags, backpacks, coolers, purses, etc. larger than 14″ x 14″ x 14″ will not be permitted into the speedway in accordance with Peterborough Speedways size requirement. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink inside the track. Glass containers of any kind will not be permitted .NO ALCOHOL can be carried in.

Pit passes, which allow access to the pit area must be purchased in-person only, They are available at all Peterborough Speedway racing events. A pit pass also allows for admission into the grandstand area.

Working media personnel, both regionally and nationally, are welcome at Peterborough speedway events. All credential requests (season and single-race) may be made by emailing info@peterboroughspeedway.com.

A first aid station is located in the pits beside tech lane. Spectators are asked to go main tower food concession for assistance. For the protection of our guests, trained medical personnel are on duty at all racing events.
