APC Late Model – Dayco Super Stock Double Dip Lights Up Peterborough Speedway

Central Ontario’s must attend motorsports event rolls into Peterborough Speedway Saturday, June 13th. Catch the excitement of a 175-lap headliner for the APC United Late Model Series and 50 laps of action from the Dayco Super Stocks, presented by KOD Disposal.

 

Both tours head into town for the first and only time of the 2026 schedule. Josh Stade scored the season opening Late Model Saturday, May 9th at Delaware, while last year’s Peterborough Speedway APC Late Model winner and 2025 Autumn Colours Classic champion Jake Sheridan was the Sunday, May 31st winner at Flamboro. Sheridan comes into the weekend event with a 5-point lead over Brandon Watson in the Late Model standings. Watson is the all-time win leader, with 19 tour victories. Stade is the reigning series champion, while Watson last won at Peterborough in 2018.

This weekend’s 175 lap APC United Late Model ‘A’ main at Peterborough Speedway is the first event of this year’s NTN Triple Crown Series, consisting of a $15,000 point fund in addition to the already announced $49,000 point fund for the APC Series. Additional events will be held August 1st at Sauble and at Delaware September 26th.

This will be the 2nd stop on the Dayco Super Stock slate. Nic Ramsay took the opening round win Saturday, May 9th at Delaware Speedway. Carson Nagy picked up the wins in 2025, 2024 and 2023. Jason Parker was the 2022 winner.

Also the raceday docket for the Saturday, June 13th double header will be the home track SwitchTire Mini Stocks, Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Cars and Ontario Bandoleros. James Townsend has scored the last 2 Mini Stock feature wins, while 2025 champion Dawson Drimmie took the season opening Legend Car win at the Central Ontario oval. This will be the first Ontario Bandolero event on the 2026 Peterborough Speedway schedule.

 

Grandstand gates open at 2:00, with the first Great Canadian RV green flag at 4:00.
