2012 ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET
Peterborough Speedway’s Annual Awards Banquet took place in Bethany at The Ranch Resort on November 10th. Driver’s, crew, sponsors, family and friends came out to congratulate each other on another successful season at Canada’s Toughest 1/3 Mile. We would like to congratulate each of the points champions – Bryan Sudsbury #29 VanGuard Self Storage Late Model Champion, Andy McCann #12 Parry Springs Renegade Truck Champion now three years in a row, Tyler Junkin #41 Peterborough Hyundai Mini Stock Champion, and Chris Mulders #99 Battlefield Equipment Rental Four Fun Champion. The 2012 season also saw Jack Horner #31 LM, James Townsend #88 RT, Ember Junkin #19 MS , and Chris Mulders #99 4-F taking Rookie of the year honours. We would like to thank all the driver’s, crew family and fans that came out this past season and supported Peterborough Speedway. Your hard work, dedication, and all the time and effort it takes to do the sport we love does not go un-noticed. Also don’t forget that our rules meeting will be on December 2nd 2012 at the Best Western Otonabee Inn, on Lansdowne St. in Peterborough starting at 1:00pm.
