Hometown Race Fans Feel the Love at Peterborough Speedway

With a stretch of 16 straight Saturday nights of action on the regular season schedule, it’s a great time to be a fan of weekly racing at Peterborough Speedway.

The new campaign is slated to roll to the line May 18th with the Pure Country 105 Season Opener, featuring free spectator grandstand admission. Track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says the team is excited to get everything rolling for 2024.

“We have a lot going on this year and the annual lid-lifter is just the tip of the iceberg,” according to Josiasse. “As usual, our weekly home track divisions are the stars of the show, but we’re also happy to welcome some of the top touring classes in the province to share our Saturday night spotlight.”

Officials have made sure that the Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Nights – presented by Pepsi – will be back on the agenda. General admission spectator grandstand passes are only $4.00 June 8th, 29th and August 17th and each show includes an on-track driver autograph session at intermission.

Catch every lap – from opening night to the Championship Clash – at the popular oval on Mount Pleasant Road. A regular season pass is $250.00. That’s $52.00 off the ticket booth price. The 2024 Super Pass – with everything the season pass includes, plus the 31st annual APC Autumn Colours Classic – is only $300.00. You’ll save $67.00 off buying individual tickets.

As the regular season gets closer, fans will once again be able to purchase passes in advance by using the ‘buy tickets’ option on the Peterborough Speedway homepage. As always, tickets will also be available as a ‘cash only’ sale on raceday. The online insurance waiver will need to be completed by anyone entering the pit area for any event.

The countdown is on to the Saturday, May 18th 2024 season opener at Peterborough Speedway. For schedule details and event information, head to www.peterboroughspeedway.com or the track’s social media platforms.
