50-Lap Bone Stock Headliner This Weekend at Peterborough Speedway
Showcase events are the chance for drivers in home track racing divisions to shine. Saturday, July 8th, Attersley Tirecraft presents a 50-lap feature event for the Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock teams at Peterborough Speedway.
“We’ve had a great 2023 season and we’re happy to have the team at Attersley Tirecraft join our program this weekend,” said track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse. “Also in the line-up will be the Renegade Truck, Super Stock and Junior Late Model divisions, plus the Canadian Legend Car Series. King of the Hill timed spectator laps will be the intermission feature.”
Attersley Tirecraft has been part of the Central Ontario landscape since 1960. Located at 677 Crown Drive in Peterborough, they’re the market’s top service provider for car, light truck, commercial heavy truck, farm and off-road tires from the best-known brands in the industry.
For the Saturday, July 8th event at Peterborough Speedway, pit gates will open at 2:30, grandstands at 5:00 with racing at 6:00. Looking ahead on the schedule finds the Pure Country 105 Mid-Season Bash – Saturday, July 15th – with the return of the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models for a 50-lap main event. Also on the night’s line-up will be the home track Bone Stock, Mini Stock and Late Model divisions, plus the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series. Kid’s rides will be the intermission feature.
The Ontario Sportsman Series returns Saturday, July 29th with the OSCAAR Modifieds, Hot Rods and Outlaw Midgets on the Saturday, August 5th calendar. Saturday, August 12th is the final Double Toonie Fan Appreciation Night of the 2023 season.
