The Old Smokehouse Enduro 250
The Old Smokehouse Enduro 250 took to the track last night at Canada’s Toughest 1/3rd mile oval Peterborough Speedway, the air may have had a chill but the track was heating up with 29 Enduro cars when the green flag dropped.
After 250 gruelling laps punishing the cars, drivers, and even a few tempers, it was the survival of the fittest and fastest that made the podium. Stan Tisnovsky had a number of issues on the track including a few spins still put his #7 in second spot, but the night belonged to Steve Lovie (141) who took the overall victory with a large lead and celebrated with a little dance on the roof of his winning 75 Monte Carlo in the Dart Heating and Air Conditioning Victory Lane.
This Thanksgiving Weekend will see the population of Mount Pleasant Rd increase by a huge number as the Camper City starts building and Canada’s Toughest 1/3rd Mile Oval host the Superbowl of Canadian Short Track racing with the 21st running of the Autumn Colours Classic. Hundreds of racing teams fighting to be crowned Champions of the most sought after annual race.
