Toonie Spectator Grandstand Admission Night is Back at Peterborough Speedway
Treat 10 of your closest friends for a great night of motorsports entertainment at Canada’s Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval for just $20. You probably have that much stuck between the cushions of your couch or stashed in the cup holder in your car. It’s the season’s final Toonie Spectator Grandstand Admission/Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Pepsi – Saturday, August 13th – at Peterborough Speedway.
Enjoy the sizzle of the Hot August Nights Racing Series, with the Battlefield Equipment Rental 4Fun, Jiffy Lube Mini Stock, Earl Ireland Auto Sales Late Model, INEX Ontario Legend and Ontario Modifieds Racing divisions, with an on-track fan autograph session at intermission. Track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says these events are as popular with the drivers and they are with the crowd in the stands.
“Not everyone can get into the pit area to see the racecars, but this event gives fans of all ages the opportunity to connect with the drivers they cheer for every week,” said Josiasse. “The racers are kept busy signing autographs, posing for pictures, handing-out treats and answering questions about their cars. It’s a wonderful chance to create a brand new group of supporters.”
For the Pepsi Toonie Spectator Grandstand Admission/Fan Appreciation Night – Saturday, August 13th – pit gates will open at 2:00, with the spectator grandstands unlocked at 4:00. To accommodate 5 classes of racing and the autograph session, the first green flag of the night will be at 5:00; an hour earlier than usual.
Looking ahead on the schedule to Saturday, August 20th finds the Battlefield Equipment Rental 4Fun, Paul Davis Systems Thunder Car, Earl Ireland Auto Sales Late Model, INEX Ontario Legend Series and the return of the Ontario Pro Challenge Series racing. Pits open at 3:00, grandstands at 5:00 and racing at 6:00.
