A cold north wind blew into Central Ontario, and with it brought a Hurricane… of sorts. The Ontario Hurricane Midgets with their first appearance of the season at Canada’s Toughest 1/3rd mile Oval.

The Peterborough Hyundai Mini Stocks warmed up the air a bit with the FarmBro race team dominating the Dart Heating & A/C Victory Lane with Chris Mulders (99) winning his 2 qualifying heats, and Ryan Babin (89) and Ryan Olsterholt (79) each winning a heat.  Before the night was thru Ryan Babin took home his first Feature win in the Ministock division.

The Parry Springs Renegade Trucks had Bill O’Hara (6) dominate the track as he swept the heats and feature, but not before som late entries with the likes of a track Champion Tyler Junkin come from behind and challenge O’Hara till the bitter end.

The Paul Davis Systems Thundercars turned the heat up with a new driver behind the wheel of the #40 as driver and crew chief swapped jobs. Don Beatty taking on the crew chief and Stu Robinson Jr taking a heat win as well as parking that shiny comaro in the Dart Heating and A/C Victory Lane.

The Vanguard Self Storage late model division really warmed up the crowd on this chilly night with an increase in numbers. In heat 1 former track champion Bryan Sudsbury took the checkered flag . Heat 2 saw the (31) of Jack Horner lead the way ,while heat 3 winner Craig Graham went on to win the feature.

Finally the storm blew in with the Hurricane Midgets with 23 cars to start the night. Although there was the guys like Rob McCall (62) winning a heat, it was Jamie Bound (83) Dominated both his heats and the feature to take is second major victory of the season celebrating in the Dart Heating & A/C Victory Lane.
