After 3 weeks on the road, the Trailers Plus Canadian Legend Car Series will return to Peterborough Speedway Saturday, August 6^th. This will mark the popular tour’s final visit of the 2022 regular season at Canada’s Toughest 3^rd Mile Oval.

 

Following the most recent stop – Saturday, July 30^th at Sauble Speedway – Parker Traves holds-down the top spot in the point standings on the strength of his 4 main event wins. Jordan Latimer is 131 points behind the leader, with Adam Cuthbertson 133 markers out of the lead. Steve Gareau and Hudson Nagy occupy the 4^th and 5^th positions, 166 and 216 points respectively behind Traves. Ironically, 3 of the 5 drivers in the championship chase – Latimer, Gareau and Nagy – are also in contention for the 2022 rookie of the year title.

 

His 4 wins and 5 straight feature race top-5 finishes on the home front have come along with a 9^th place showing during the Cook Out Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway – Tuesday, July 19^th – have established Parker Traves’ No. 60 ride the team to beat on the Trailers Plus Canadian Legend Car Series. Series owner Kevin Foisy created even more awareness for the tour’s brand, with a Round 10 checkered flag at the Cook Out Summer Shootout – Tuesday, August 2^nd – on his 57^th birthday.
