Another local motorsport season is winding down. Racers with the GEN3 Electrical SportsMods, presented by OMRS will mark the end of the 2026 schedule with an event at Peterborough Speedway’s 33^rd annual Autumn Colours Classic.

The group’s latest marquee event – Friday, October 9^th – will also see the crowning of the overall champion after an exciting line-up of action at the popular Central Ontario oval and the Hamilton, Ontario area’s Flamboro Speedway. Heading into the Thanksgiving Weekend showcase, positions in the final point standings are anyone’s guess.

Despite suffering a blown motor during the Saturday, August 29^th Robert Maebrae Memorial, reigning champion John Baker Jr. holds a 2-point advantage over Chad Strawn. Brad Stevenson, Garrett Yake and Ethan Thompson round out the top 5 in the running order heading into the season finale.
