$ 4.00 Buys a Night of Local Racing Action at Peterborough Speedway
On the schedule, it is billed as ‘Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Night’. The team at Peterborough Speedway is charging $ 4.00 for spectator grandstand admission Saturday, June 27th. On track action will include the home track SwitchTire Mini Stock. Super Stock, Late Model and Nadeau’s Collision Service Junior Late Model divisions, plus the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series.
They’re calling it ‘Double Toonie’, but as long as the amount you pay adds-up to $ 4.00, how you do it doesn’t matter. It could be 4 ‘Loonies’, 16 quarters, 40 dimes or 80 nickels. Pepsi presents the 2nd Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Night of the 2026 schedule. It’s a family motorsports entertainment event you can’t afford to miss.
Heading into the next night of racing, John Lavalle leads the SwitchTire Mini Stock standings by 3 points over Cameron McGlashan, with Christen Lavalle just markers out of the lead. Even though it still early in the year, close to 30 different teams have made at least one start in the Mini Stock field. Bailey Jacobs is the point leader in the track’s Super Stock division and has a 31-point cushion on Coltin Everingham. Donovan Price and Herb Walters are each 32 markers behind Jacobs. Super Stock racers have been part of the line-up on 3 occasions.
This weekend will mark the 4th night of action for the headline Late Model field. Dan McHattie has logged a pair of trips to victory lane, with reigning track champion Ryan Kimball taking the opening night checkered flag.
