Alex Cuzzilla Signs in for 2026 Peterborough Speedway Late Model Action
Possibilities are endless as a fresh year of local racing action gets ready for the green flag.
After running a limited schedule in 2025, 23-year-old Alex Cuzzilla has announced his plans to follow the full season of events in the KOD Late Model field at Peterborough Speedway. The multi-generational speedster from Nestleton, Ontario comes into the line-up with an impressive resume that includes the 2024 championship the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series.
“Our team is looking forward to a strong year of weekly action at the popular Central Ontario oval,” said Alex Cuzzilla, who works as a Millwright at TS Manufacturing. “We’ve been working hard to get our No. 50 machine ready for the annual lid lifter and hope it will be a strong season. I know there will be a lot to learn in our first full season of Late Model competition, but I think our team will be up for the challenge.”

Fans of the KOD Disposal Late Models can catch Peterborough Speedway’s headline division on 11 different occasions – including the 2026 New Country KX 105 Season Opener – with free spectator grandstand admission – Saturday, May 16th. The APC Late Models will return to the line-up – with a 175-lap headliner – Saturday, June 13th. This year’s edition of the Late Model Electric City 167 will be part of the 33rd running of the Autumn Colours Classic Sunday, October 11th.
