Shortly after introducing a new design for their www.peterboroughspeedway.com website, the popular Central Ontario oval’s promotional team is happy to announce that they will once again have cars on display at Lindsay Square.
From April 28th to May 5th, fans will have the opportunity to pick-up a copy of the track’s weekly event schedule and see the 2024 rides of 3rd generation KOD Disposal Late Model runner Jacob Mercer and the unveiling of the No. 99 of Kingsway Auto Centre Junior Late Model rookie of the year hopeful, 11-year-old former go karter Brody Coates. The No. 38 Mini Stock of Carol ‘Duckie’ Dawson – who finished 6th in last year’s point standings – will also be part of the show. Peterborough Speedway owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse days having cars at the mall is a tradition that has been part of the speedway’s publicity itinerary for several decades, spanning multiple generations.
“We’re thankful to the team at Lindsay Square for welcoming the race teams and our fans for this pre-season event once again this year,” explained Josiasse. “Shows like this are an excellent marketing opportunity for racers, the track and the sport of local weekly auto racing.”
