Bailey Jacobs Shines in His Peterborough Speedway Return
From his time in the provincial karting ranks to the seat of a Super Stock in the weekly racing wars on local speedways, Bailey Jacobs has earned a reputation as a winning racer.
The personable, soft spoken speedster who hails from Warsaw, Ontario earned the 2015 rookie of the year and hard charger awards during his freshman season at Peterborough Speedway and claimed the annual track championship in 2018 and 2022. After the first 3 events of his 2026 schedule, the 28-year-old racer – who is the owner of Chemong Home Solutions – has a pair of race wins and a 2nd place finish on his resume.
“Its great to be back at Peterborough this year and see so many good friends and fellow racers,” said Bailey Jacobs. “Even though it is still early and so much can change, I’m happy with our efforts so far. I’m hoping we’ll be able to carry the momentum of our strong start through the rest of the season.”
Bailey Jacobs and his wife Naomi now make their home in Warsaw where the No. 60 car is prepared and maintained by the driver and his father. Sponsorship for this year’s effort comes from Create Shade Party Tent Rentals, TYSYD Lawn Care, Dart Heating & Air Conditioning, Whitfield Home Improvements, NAPA Lakefield, Chemong Home Solutions and Clarke Motorsports Communications.
Next action for the Peterborough Speedway Super Stock division will be Saturday, June 27th when the track hosts its 2nd Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Night – presented by Pepsi – of the 2026 schedule. Grandstand admission is $4.00 and there will be a trackside driver autograph session at intermission. Spectator gates open at 4:00, with racing at 5:00.
