Ontario Legend Car Series Looks Ahead to the 2025 Season
After a successful inaugural run under its new branding, officials with the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series have shifted focus to working on the 2025 schedule. Series director Robin Jongen says the group’s plans are quite simple.
“Our goal for the new season is to keep doing the same thing,” said Jongen. “It was a great season with some incredible season-long and raceday marketing partnerships including title support from Linda, Zoran and Beth at Trailers Plus and that’s some solid ground to build on. Our car counts were strong and teams delivered some excellent racing at every event. What more could a sanctioning body ask for?”
Operating under the structure of the INEX banner, the series awarded championships to Paul Pierik, Adam Cuthbertson and Mitch Wright in the Masters, Pro and Semi Pro divisions. Wright was also crowned the overall 2024 Titleist. Keaton Pipe picked-up the Young Lions crown and shared the Most Improved Driver honours with Gibson Baker.
Robbie Sikes – the first-year racer who finished highest in the point standings – was named Rookie of the Year. Matt Boyes and Glenn Morris share the Sportsman of the Year accolades, while Cole McFadden’s popular yellow and red No. 20 ride was selected Best Appearing Car.
“The 2025 schedule is ready to go and we’re looking forward to returning to some of our group’s favourite tracks,” said Robin Jongen. “Sunset, Sauble, Full Throttle and Peterborough Speedway – including the 32nd annual APC Autumn Colours Classic – will all be part of the new season’s line-up. Our racers, teams and staff are counting the days and are anxious to get back to the track and delight the fans with our brand of racing.”
