Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models are Back at Peterborough Speedway
Ground pounding power and unbridled horsepower will take control of Canada’s Toughest 3rd Mile Oval as the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series returns to Peterborough Speedway.
Heading into the Saturday, July 23rd date at the popular Central Ontario oval, the Super Late Model squad has seen 14 different teams take at least one green flag this year, with Glenn Watson, Sean Grosman and Brandon Passer taking main event wins during the 2022 schedule. Joining the show with the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series will be Peterborough Speedway’s home track Jiffy Lube Mini Stock, Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Truck, KOD Disposal Super Stock and Kingsway Auto Centre Junior Late Model class, plus the GEN-3 Electrical Ontario Modifieds Racing Series, with Kid’s Rides as the intermission feature. Pit gates open at 2:30, with the spectator grandstands unlocked at 5:00 and the first green flag at 6:00.
Still to come this month will be a visit from the OSCAAR Modified and Hot Rod tours, plus the Outlaw Midgets with the weekly Bone Stock and Mini Stock teams – with a Pre-Race Corn Roast – Saturday, July 30th. The 2022 Hot August Night Series rolls to the line Saturday, August 8th with the Mini Stock, Renegade Truck, Super Stock and Late Model divisions, with the Trailers Plus Canadian Legend Car Series and King of the Hill for the intermission feature.
Advance tickets for all Peterborough Speedway dates can be purchased through the ‘buy tickets’ option on the track website. Passes are available on raceday for cash sales through the walk-up trackside ticket window.
The year’s final Double Toonie/Fan Appreciation Night, with $4.00 spectator grandstand admission is slated for Saturday, August 13th, with the inaugural running of the Ontario Modifieds Racing Series Bill Pickford Memorial event scheduled for Saturday, August 20th. Peterborough Speedway plays host to a series of strong weekly race action, along with a variety of special events leading up to the regular season ending Championship Clash – Saturday, September 3rd.
