Country 105 Mid-Season Bash is Peterborough Speedway’s Summer Party
It’s the unofficial halfway mark of the 2019 race season and the team of track officials and staff at Peterborough Speedway is in the mood for a party. Join the home track Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock, Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Truck, KOD Disposal Super Stock and Late Model divisions, along with the visiting Ontario Modifieds Racing Series – Saturday, July 13th – for the Mid-Season Bash, presented by Country 105.
After having several of the dates on this year’s early schedule affected by the weather, the season is finally off and rocking, delivering some hot action for the loyal fans of the tight, tricky bullring on Mount Pleasant Road. Car counts have been strong and the competition is great across the board. Track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says its good to see things changing for the better.
“This is the level of excitement everyone has been looking for since the first laps of the season,” Josiasse said. “Crowds are getting pumped-up about the brand of racing we’ve been able to deliver every Saturday night and that level of enthusiasm has been reflected in our grandstand numbers and the fact that even this far into the year, teams have been able to bring some new marketing partners to the table to support their programs.”
Saturday, July 20th the hometown Super Stock teams will have their night’s action highlighted by a 50 lap main event. On the same show will be the local Bone Stock and Mini Stock divisions, along with 2019’s only regular season appearance of the Hoosier Racing Tire Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Series and kid’s racecar rides as the intermission feature. Select the ‘schedule’ drop-down menu from the track web-site for all the event details.
