Legends broke onto the track today and put on a great show with action in both the front and the middle of the pack in each heat and in the feature race. Adam Cuthbertson two time champion in the #79 put on a fantastic show tonight by winning both heat #1 and #3 he was in as well as the feature race. In heat #2 Andy Warbotton driving the #24 took the lead and just held onto it giving him the feature win. In the 4th heat Wes Cuthberston in the #12 took a victory starting from the back.

Battlefield Equipment Four-Funs put on a terrific show tonight with Chris Mulders (#99) from Farm Bros Racing taking the first heat by storm. In the second heat it was full steam ahead with girl power when Tiffany Vanderbelt (#88) won another heat at the track. Peter Moore driving the #17 was seen in victory lane when he dominated in heat #3. In the fourth heat, there was action from start to finish at the front, but Rob Gossa (#63) took his first feature win of the year. Ryan Baben (#8) took his very first feature win showing just how much work the team members of Farm Bros Racing put into their cars.

Parry Springs Renegade Trucks showed the true power of the female touch when it comes to racing. Stacy Bierworth (#37), who took 2^nd place overall last year as well as most improved and rookie of the year took both the heat wins tonight as well as the feature win.

Peterborough Hyundai Mini Stocks: This series is by far one of the most competitive series of racing in Ontario and it was no different tonight. Dan Demers in the 67 took the victory in the first heat. The second heat was taken by a familiar face when Tyler Junkin (41) crossed the finish line first. Cole McFadden (20) sunk his teeth into victory lane when he won the 3^rd heat for his first time back to Peterborough Speedway this season. The real story in the mini stocks was when Alex Lees (07) took the checkered in both heat 4 and in the feature when he had a commanding lead over everyone else.

Vangaurd S Storage Late Models: When these big boys come out to play the crowd loves to hear the roar of these engines and just how fast they move. Crowd favorite Bryan Sudsburry in the #29 took the win in heat #1. The second heat had a familiar face in victory lane as the crowd pleaser Kelly Balson (10) took control of the race and didn’t let go. In the feature race, no one had seen such dominance all night until Tyler Liscum (14) showed just how powerful his car truly was.

It was Toonie night tonight and Pepsi presented Fan Appreciation night tonight where the fans got to meet their favorite. A 50 – 50 prize was also presented by Peterborough’s Shriner’s Club with the winner taking home hundreds of dollars. Do not forget to come to Canada’s toughest and fastest 1/3 mile Oval as the TQ Midgets make a special appearance next week. The gates will open at 6pm and the racing will begin at 7pm.
